THE MOORINGS IS FOR MATURE GUESTS (18 YEARS OR OLDER).

OFF-SEASON: June 7 to 28, September 6 to 27.
ADVANCE RESERVATION REQUIRED. RENTAL WEEKS RUN SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
However, we encourage a longer term and will negotiate rates accordingly.
Rental includes the following:
Indoor heated pool (30x50) with sun deck and encosed hot tub with shower (daily towels provided). Tennis Court (racquets and balls available on request).
Billiards Room. To insure the privacy and tranquility of our guests, the pool, hot tub, tennis court and billiards room hours are 9AM to 9PM.
Each furnished apartment includes: plates, glasses, wine glasses, serving dishes, utensils, colander, pots and pans, microwave, electric coffeemakers (filters included), limited paper products, toaster, (iron, ironing board and hair drier on request), broom and dustpan, cotton sheets and pillowcases, pillows, blankets and towels. Also satellite television, DVDVCR player, central heating, gas fireplace and deck with retractable awnings. There are no interruptions by housekeeping. After occupancy, you are on your own although we are on premises managers and are available to take care of unforeseen problems.
A complimentary washer and dryer are available for all guests.
Charcoal grills and tables are located in the cookout areas.
There is a separate community room with internet access and private guest telephone (207-677-3258) with 24-hour message answering. Also exercycle and theracycle excercise machines are included.
There is ample parking.
FOR THE PROTECTION AND PRIVACY OF OUR GUESTS AND TO COMPLY WITH INSURANCE REGULATIONS, ANYONE USING THE FACILITIES OF THE MOORINGS MUST BE EITHER GUESTS OR VISITORS WITH PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE MANAGEMENT.

We are not a hotel with daily or weekend rentals therefore summer vacation plans are made well in advance of the opening of the season. Once the season begins our window of opportunity diminishes to rebook a cancelled unit, therefore our policy will be that full payment is due a week prior to the season's opening, June 1, 2008.
ONE WEEK RENTAL: A $300 Non-refundable Deposit reserves your apartment until June 1 whereupon we will charge you and/or your credit card the balance of the rent due.
TWO WEEKS OR MORE: A $500.00 Non-refundable Deposit reserves your apartment
until June 1 whereupon we will charge you and/or your credit card the balance of the rent due.
GUEST FEE: $25 per night per person.
MC/VISA ACCEPTED.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Before June 1, 2008, we will only charge your account one-half of the total rental fee.
CHECK-IN is 2:00 to 4:00PM. CHECK-OUT is 10:00AM.

A LITTLE HISTORY
We acquired remarkable historic houses dating from the end of the Civil War. We found these antiquities desperately in need of rehabilitation. Carefully and responsibly we restored these magnificent examples of 19th and 20th century architecture while complementing with gardens, grounds and outbuildings. All rehabilitation was approached with an overriding discipline uncompromising in retaining the original character and detail while adapting to a 21st century use. Primarily a labor of love, we are now able to offer a rare opportunity to experience historicity while luxuriating in the natural beauty and tranquility of this 20-acre estate-like spot resplendent with picture postcard views of the most photographed lobstering harbor in Maine.
