Years in its development, the Moorings has evolved to its present state by respectful attention to detail. Although the Capodilupos have worked as real estate developers for years, this site was worthy of all their efforts. Tony and Sally Capodilupo have worked together on a myriad of projects. They are award-winning real estate developers in the Greater Boston area; they are recipients of the Boston Society of Architects Award. Tony is a licensed real estate broker and an Active A past member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. They owned and managed several prime pieces of real estate in Boston.
Tony served on the editorial board and was head editorial writer and drama critic for THE REGIONAL REVIEW, a Boston waterfront newspaper. He was a contributing editorial writer to the LINCOLN COUNTY WEEKLY of Damariscotta, Maine.
They produced the musicals, NUNSENSE and NUNSENSE II, which ran in repertory to become the longest running musicals in Boston's theatrical history. They owned, developed, and managed an entertainment complex, (legitimate theatre, cabaret, and restaurant)THEATRE LOBBY, in Boston's North End. Tony, a graduate of Boston Latin School (founded in 1635), Boston College and Yale University, and Sally, a graduate of West Virginia University, worked professionally and produced shows on and off Broadway. Tony was the leading character actor for ten years at the Williamstown Theatre in Williamstown, Massachusetts, one of the most distinguished theatres in the country.
